Top of the Grill Salsa
The perfect American salsa to accompany your British burger

Cook time: 10 minutes
Ingredients
- Heavy duty foil
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 6 large quartered tomatoes
- 1/3 roughly chopped onion
- 1 jalapeno
- 3 tablespoons cilantro
- 3 tablespoons lime
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- (Chefs Additional Options; garlic, basil, chilies, tomatillos)
Cooking method
- On a large piece of foil, wrap tomato, onion and jalapeno
- Roast on grill for 5-10 minutes or longer until onion begins to blacken.
- Add the above to a blender
- Puree with cilantro and lime juice, season to taste
